If you have every thought of, beginning to or in the middle of inventing yourself, then you know it is not easy. One day you might feel you are on top of the world and then the next day you feel as if you are missing something or just took 2 steps backwards.
I have met many people at school, work, the gym and even the grocery store, gotten to know them and through back and forth conversations, they tell me how porn has negatively affected their lives. They tell me that they used to love to PMO until months, years or even decades later, it just wasn’t fun anymore and started to deeply affect their lives – their work, their family and their relationships.
This is what porn does to you, you PMO to feel good but soon after you feel terrible about yourself.
I had one guy I met in the grocery store talk to me about how he swapped PMO with running. Whenever he felt an urge to PMO, he would just go outside and start running. Of course, he did admit he relapse a few times but after many failed attempts, it finally stuck and he has been running ever since.

It is extremely difficult to stop something you have been doing for years or even decades cold turkey – especially one that has been pleasurable for so long. Your brain has been wired to find what you were doing for so long routine and will fight you to get back to that routine no matter what – this is the addiction part. You need to fight this addiction and urge to PMO so that you start on a path that is filled with positivity.
There are lots of research out there that states that masturbation is healthy with little to no side effects. Many researchers say that it is completely normal to masturbate once or even twice a day or more.
According to Healthline, masturbation gives you these benefits:

- feel pleasure
- relieve cramps
- release sexual tension
- have better sex
- better understand your wants and needs
But, if you have ever masturbated you start to see certain negative effects.Let me ask you this, after masturbation, do you feel tired? Do you feel as if you are lacking energy? Do you feel ashamed of yourself after you spill your seed? Is masturbation negatively affecting work, family, your friends and your partner? Think about it and you will start to KNOW something is wrong. You will finish projects and tasks with ease because your general stamina and clarity of mind will be improved. You will become beautiful in mind and body so much that people will stare at you in streets. Your dreams will change and take shape into reality. Sleeping will become meditative while insights will come after every sleep. Your mouth will only utter what should be uttered in a situation such as facts in a clear, concise and non-offensive tone. You will be able to show up in any meeting or gathering trusting this ability with firm confidence. GET TO THE NOFAP FINISH LINE BY DOING THESE ACTIONABLE IDEAS:

And it can help you focus on other things rather than jacking off. If you are teetering at the edge of your NoFap journey then try a cold shower to help you escape from relapsing. Furthermore, cold showers can provide incredible benefits to the body and mind as well.
LOOK AT YOURSELF IN THE MIRROR: Look at yourself in the mirror and think: Are you the person you want to be? If not then why? Who do you want to be? Is masturbation worth losing everything?
Looking yourself in the mirror gives you a sense of reality. If watching porn and/or masturbating affects your life in a negative manner then change it! This blog can only provide you a road to success but only you have the ability to follow that path to get the success you deserve. Remember, only you can change yourself, nobody has the power to change you because only you have that power to affect yourself.
STOP COUNTING DAYS: Why should you stop counting days? Let me ask you something. Why do you count the days in the first place? What difference does it make, if you really quit? You didn’t quit, you just count the days until your next “relapse” (aka excuse) so you can say how many days you got to.
Let me put it to you this way. If you are not a smoker, you never smoked before and have no intention of smoking, you wouldn’t count the days you didn’t smoke. Why would you, it doesn’t make sense! If you quit PMO, it’s because your values changed. What I mean is YOU changed. The habit just went with it, so you don’t need to count. You are simply not focused on PMO anymore and you are thinking about other things in life.
TRY YOGA AND MEDITATION: Yoga and meditation when practiced together reinforce the connection between mind and body, improving mainly health and well-being. There are several styles of yoga that merge meditation with the physical routines, which use controlled breathing throughout the poses of yoga. By simply unwinding, clearing the mind and concentrating on controlled breathing, one can meditate without practicing yoga as well. Both yoga and meditation have proven health benefits when practiced regularly.
BE ACTIVE: Go ahead and work out, be active, go to the gym, lift weights, run, jog and hike. Play some sports such as basketball, baseball, football, soccer or even swim. DO whatever it takes to distract your mind from PMO. In fact, playing sports and being active makes you physically and mentally strong which helps you stay focused on not relapsing – plus it improves your mood.
